DRM studios offers beginner and advanced classes in all aspects of electronic music production and recording. Small class sizes means that our students receive individual attention and that different learning styles can be accommodated. We offer classes in a variety of industry standard software, including Pro Tools, Logic, and FL studio. Classes are also available for students to learn full use of a state-of-the-art studio from mic to speakers, with everything in between.
Audio Production One:
A comprehensive course in the use of Digital Audio Workstations. AP One covers the art of mixing and use of effects, as well as editing, basic sound manipulation, and the analysis and creation of modern electronic music. The course is open to adults, and to youth 14+.
Prerequisite: No previous experience is necessary.
Course Requirements: Students will need a laptop with appropriate software and headphones.
Course Length: 10 classes (60 min each)

Audio Production Two:
A continuation of AP One. Develop the skills and sounds acquired in the first level, now through one-on-one instruction. Lessons are individually tailored to the student’s specific needs and interests, be it a more song writing or sound design focus. The course is open to adults, and to youth 14+.
Prerequisite: Audio Production One
Course Length: 10 lessons (45 min each)

Audio Production Three:
Learn how to record and mix a variety of live instruments and sounds using a wide range of equipment in a professional recording studio.
Prerequisite: Audio Production One & Audio Production Two
